Columbia Stereo SAX 2524 blue & silver 1st U.K. vinyl pressing of George Szell conducting The Cleveland Orchestra playing Mendelssohn's ''Italian Symphony'' and ''Hebrides'' Overture and Weber's ''Oberon'' Overture. I don't usually list records at this grading (good at best!) but it is an extremely rare and collectible record and it might do as a filler record until a better copy comes along. Sadly, although both sides play through without sticking or jumping there are a number of scratches evident that cause ''ticking'' throughout the majority of both sides. These ''ticks'' are quite audible on side 1 (Mendelssohn's ''Italian'' Symphony) and are less audible on side 2 (Mendelssohn's ''Hebrides'' or ''Fingal's Cave'' Overture and Weber's ''Oberon'' Overture). The sleeve is also no better than good condition with a 4'' long tear on its bottom edge and noticeable corner wear and damage, (please see above photographs).
