This is the rare and sought after 1st edition of 'SAX 2552'. The record is in great condition with one or two extremely minor surface rubs only, hardly worth mentioning. Playback is great with performances designed to be played at above average volume levels. There is a little background surface noise which isnt unusual for these high quality antique records. I personally do not find it offputting, infact quite the opposite, it simply adds to the depth and the feeling it gives you whilst you soak in the soundwaves. The matrix reads 1E/1E to sides 1 and 2 indicating the very earliest of pressings (in fact the first). The outer sleeve has a small mark to the top right corner (as picture), but still solid clean and crisp. Inner sleeve is present and in great condition.

Overall the item is in highly collectable condition, the sax series is becoming ever harder to find anywhere and for some reason this item in particular. Please take note of my feedback and bid with confidence. Thankyou for reading and good luck.

 We use the standard grading system stated below for all our vinyl and try to be as honest as we can be about any flaws or imperfections. We play grade every single record however valuable it may be, so please do feel confident when buying.

All vinyl sent well protected using two corrugated cardboard stiffeners and the highest grade stiff brown cardboard.

 Grading system

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing

.Very good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

.Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
