SAX 2554 (S/C – 1st Ed.) DVORAK: NEW WORLD SYMPHONY KLEMPERER. SUPERB CONDITION!
This package is in a lovely state.
The sleeve is flat, square, and bold. There's no peeling to the laminate, and the flip back sleeve is still firmly fixed. There's very little buffering to the top, left corner, as shown. The back sleeve is also in excellent shape, with a little pitting, as shown, but there's no strenuous deterioration, marking or otherwise, although a little yellowing is evident. The spine is flat and square, and the text is still bold.
The record is beautiful-close to mint. Shiny, with no marks, scratches, etc, and plays crisply and cleanly. There are some extremely light pops at the beginning of both sides, but this absolutely does not impinge on the overall sound quality. The labels are perfect, demonstrating very little play. There is no deterioration to spindle holes or labels, and the deadwax is as clean as the rest of the vinyl.
The record is housed in its original, poly lined inner sleeve, which is still in remarkable shape, given its age.
I would rate the package as an excellent plus throughout.
