This Auction is for The Lp - Mahler: Symphony No. 4 in G, The Cleveland Orchestra Conducted by George Szell with Judith Raskin, Soprano.
1966 Stereo Pressing on the Columbia Records Label - SAX 5283.
Side 1: 1st and 2nd Movements.
Side 2: 3rd and 4th Movements.
Vinyl - Ex- :The record looks as though it has been barely played and the surface still has a lovely sheen.
On side 1 there is a 2 cm hairline scratch visible which causes some light clicks, also a couple of pops and clicks were heard on side 2 although nothing too major, other than this it plays with a lovely Deep Rich Stereo sound and Plays excellent throughout with only some occasional light static crackle and some small ticks heard in places which is pretty common of a pressing of this age - no skips, jumps etc.
Sleeve - Ex - Provided in the Original Sleeve as pictured which has some age related wear although nothing major as can be seen in the pics.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Please note: A mid range Technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.
