Description

This is another sale from my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA. 

Recording first published 1967 of Uk Columbia SAX 5285 Red Semi label  Bach Two Violin Concertos No. 1 in A minor and No. 2 in E major and Vivaldi Two Violin Concertos in D minor and A major played by Nathan Milstein and the Milstein Chamber Orchestra. Sleeve is a flip back. The date code on the back cover in the bottom right hand corner is 6708 TPS. The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are S1 36010-A4 and S2 36010-A4.  


Grading 

Visual?Would grade visually grade side 1 as?VG+.?Side 2 is VG. On this side there is a light 1cm scratch on band 3 (which I have done my best to show on a photo). There are also very faint sleeve scratches with show in certain light and at a certain angle (I have been unable to catch this on a photo).?There are faint spindle marks on both labels.? 

Audio?It plays?well?on my Linn?Sondek, no skips or jumps.?There is very little audible crackle. On side 1 band 1 there are three pops in succession. On side 2 band 1 there are four pops in succession and on band 4 there are two pops in succession. So overall I would grade the record as VG+.? 

Sleeve?is?graded as?VG.?There?is writing on the rear sleeve which I have shown in a photo. There is some wear and marks on the front and back sleeve. I have done my best to show?this?on the photos.??? 

  

Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
