SCAN TESTER I NEVER PLAYED TO MANY POSH DANCES. Double vinyl album and book. This is a scarce collection of music released on the Topic label, with the accompanying book written by Reg Hall. Scan Tester was a Sussex musician and lived from 1887 to 1972. The double album was released in 1990 on Topic 2-12T455/6 and contains 44 tracks of English Dance music. The records are pristine - I don't ever remember playing it all the way through, limiting myself to a few tracks at a time once or twice. The single sleeve cover has no tears, creases or marks - great condition. The book is a detailed account of his life spread over 148 A4 sizes pages with numerous black and white photos. No tears or creases but some very slight wear on the front cover. I'm not prepared to split the records and book - it comes as a package. getting the two together in this sort of condition is not easy - here is a great opportunity for a terrific archive item of trad. English music.
