PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE ...ORIGINAL 1969 FIRST (PRIVATE) PRESS by The Corporation, Milwaukee Wisconsin garage band who's first album (on Capitol) is quite the 'in' thing with psych collectors (see our copy this week) ...
Actually, The Corporation recorded a second and a third album but since they didn't have a major label contract for Capitol ( they were cut loose after the fantastic first album) they funded costs for local pressings of their subsequent releases to be sold locally as sort of means for their growing fan base as well as to promote themselves. The tracks within this second "Get On Our Swing" album contains various highlights throughout, some of which are injected by striking high voltage distortion/fuzz guitar breaks... ...Most bands usually would have a self, or micro label, release prior to signing a major label deal, not the reverse (the sound of this Aquarius label LP being definitely far more crude, more garag-ier, than their Capitol LP. This could be due to certain production values not being available. That being said, the differences sound like far more than just production related. The music on "Get On Our Swing" is stronger than their third album recorded also in '69. "Get On Our Swing" is primarily garage driven, with strong psych flavor, featuring lots of fuzz, organ, flute, and vocal harmony, as well as good song writing.You Make Me Feel Good
