PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Scarce 1970 original vinyl on the USA DECCA label...these cats made two very sought and collectible records, "HELP" is their first , a fine bluesy and rural edged rocker. A very rhythmically strong album with killer sneaky guitar. Recommended if you like Moby Grape... cuts ("Run Away" for example) muscle up nicely. Help's first album hasn't attracted quite the attention as their collector-friendly second, but it's just as good with a solid mix of rural rock, folk rock and pop-rock memorable melody -- it cooks really hard despite there not being any distortion on the guitars. There appear to be no instrumental overdubs, just a trio of guitar, bass and drums, yet the excellent musicianship (especially the rock-solid rhythm section) makes the sound full and rich. Side one is full of energy, melodic songwriting, and excellent vocals, and is solid all the way through. Side two is somewhat less inspired, but still pretty good, and the album is definitely recommended.

CONDITION: The cover: is rated: "EX" (excellent) with promno sticker on back cover (see #2 photo) ... this is an incredibly hard to find LP in CLEAN condition as most surviving copies show considerable wear - here a CLEAN first print which will no doubt suit many collectors ...fresh original colors, no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ... collection worthy rarity ...
