Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. One of the most talented and creative bands not only in the 70's italian progressive scene but in the prog rock history as well. Area deliver an excellent jazz infected prog-rock album in their debut with some KING CRIMSON-like passages (just listen to the intro of ''Arbeit macht frei''), exotic influences (the whole first track influenced by the arabian culture). It's not only the excellent musicianship that stands out, it's also the unique voice of Demetrio Stratos, one of the most obscure, powerful and weird voices you may ever hear. Collectors for many years have praised Area and their high-class musicianship which delivers many twists and turns, evoking many emotions; stunning, intensely fiery, adventurous and refusing to sit still in its prog/fusion base. "Arbeit Macht Frei" may be the best of all the AREA Lp's being filled up with tight bass runs and frantic drumming that rumbles up impressive momentums on which complex guitar, sax and keys can freely head-on in organised chaos. The legendary Canterbury and prog-fusion bands don't stand a chance against the emotional quality of Area who transmit not only raw aggression, but, a charged with emotion passion that grabs the listener by the throat, calling for action and understanding. The tracks contain uncertainty, suppressed anger and something darker and more sinister. It's hard to put you're finger on. Sonic singer, Demetrio Statos deserves a lot of the bands success. His voice is uniquely expressive and dramatic, and with his range he often blends with the rest of the band like another instrument.
