Always been more or less hard to find, especially in nice condition (the dark cover did not wear well) this copy has been in careful hands the past 40 years...The VERY first and rarest CLOVER...the San Francisco Sounds band made at least 3 Lp's...this one the best and the one to get. the 1970 album contains good grooves with bluesy edges and the ballroom & club circut sound of the SF scene; Clover played (supported) all the heavies of the era...their 2nd & 3rd lp found them getting into the DEAD styled rural sound...Checked out the electrified rockers on this 1st Lp which may be clearly their best ("Wade In The Water", "Lizard Rock & Roll", Shotgun, etc.)

Note: we travel through many (many!) records in quest for the best to offer, this debut Clover Lp rarely ever turns up...
