PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Before all the weirdo copy cats, there was THE CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN, an underground rock act whose hit song "Fire" set both the UK and US charts alight back in 1968. Considered one of the prime movers behind the British progressive freakbeat sound, Brown's flamboyant stage act - flaming helmet, outlandish costumes, bizarre facial make-up and crazy, incendiary vocals - appropriately suited the band's manic, psychedelic sound. When they broke up in early 1969, Brown resurfaced and was back to his theatrical excesses (including his own on-stage crucifixion) with a new band called ARTHUR BROWN'S KINGDOM COME releasing three important progressive-psych albums. "Galactic Zoo Dossier" was the groups highly rated first offering in 1971 followed by this listing, their 2nd Lp "Kingdom Come" ... Opening the proceeds, "Water" with a highly atmospheric landscape of sound; a perfect backdrop for the albums unfolding of "Love Is A Spirit", containing an outrageously strong melody, captivated by Arthur's rich & powerful theatrical vocals -- perhaps one of Arthur Brown's career highlights. Elsewhere is the twisted "City Medoly" and "The Experiment". Also of interest is the Mellotron makes it's very first appearance on an Arthur BROWN album, that is "Hymn" and the end part of "Water". Both sides are filled with unfathomable time signatures, great organ and guitar passages, bizarre lyrics, and general acid - madness. - Arthur Brown / lead vocals

CONDITION: The cover: VERY fraile UK cover is "EX" (excellent) has a little crease at top right corner, but only light cause the other side of the cover has no crease ... ther are the usual light handlling crinkles at spine area but only micro and very minor, overall in excellent shape with bright fresh original colors, no delete marks, no writing and no split seams ... collection worthy rarity ...
The vinyl: Clean and glossy over both sides, rated M- TOP COPY expect play grade to be with very CLEAN enjoyable audio... both Polydor labels are clean
