SCARCE ORIGINAL UK ONLY release of the very first incarnation of HAWKWIND back in early 1969 when they were known as HAWKWIND ZOO....

Ushering in the night with one eye on tomorrow and the other one half shut and slightly out of focus, drug-addled cosmic rockers Hawkwind these recordings in 1969 whilst the band were going under the Hawkwind Zoo moniker, ...the material highlights with the leadoff track to their first album, "Hurry On Sundown" and is more trippy and psychedelic than the version that made it on to their debut album 'Hawkwind'. This version eventually saw the light of day when released some 20 years ago as a limited edition and long long gone...let out of the vaults by band leader Dave Brock ...as well the never before, and exclusive to this album only "Mistress Of Pain" along with a throbbing bass rumbling version of "Kings Of Speed" led by Lemmy... Hurry On Sundown (7' 50") Sweet Mistress Of Pain (5' 20") Kings Of Speed (4' 25") alive....
CONDITION: The cover is very fragile and delicate, like that of 45 picture sleeve material and has stood the test of time well when taken care of at VG++ only light visible wear, that's all, highly collectible, only getting rarer as the time beats onward...
The vinyl is all smooth and clear M- top level ...plays OUTSTANDING and has clean labels...
