This is RARELY FOUND AND ONE OF THE MOST DESIRABLE of all Edison Diamond Disc Records. This is the fabulous:
"RADIO" (Fox Trot and Song!), #51372.
Both sides of this record are examples of the short-lived "Fox Trot And Song" Edison Diamond Discs that feature a jazzy toe-tapping fox trot instrumental in the first section of the record followed by a 5 second pause and then the same song WITH VOCALS!!
"RADIO" IS SIMPLY A FANTASTIC RECORDING START TO FINISH. The song is VERY entertaining and pokes fun of early radios and their inferior sound. There are great sound effects and vocals by Arthur Hall! This same recording (using a different example of this same record) can be heard in Ken Burns' "Empire Of The Air" documentary.
The flip side features "EV'RYTHING YOU DO" another jazzy fox trot and song by Harry Raderman's Dance Orchestra with vocals by Joseph Phillips.
