1971 Deutsche Grammophon (2713 006) GERMAN PRESSED 5 LP BOX SET with 160 PAGE BOOK - 'The String Quartets - A Documentary Study'

ALL FIVE RECORDS APPEAR TO HAVE NEVER BEEN PLAYED (no spindle traces or signs of use to the labels and clean like-new vinyl surfaces) - I HAVE PLAYED A FEW OF THE PIECES AND THE SOUND IS STRONG, NATURAL AND VIVID
THE BOX HAS SOME BOTTOM SPINE CORNER WEAR TO THE CLOTH BUT IS OTHERWISE CLEAN, FRESH AND UNDAMAGED
THE SOFT BACKED BOOK IS MINT AND UNTOUCHED (IT IS HOUSED IN INTERNAL FOAM PADDING AND SEPARATED FROM THE RECORDS WITH A FURTHER PIECE OF FOAM PADDING (please see photographs)

These are beautifully produced and engineered recordings with crystal clear, sharp and incredibly immediate sound.
Probably the finest recordings issued of any of these pieces.
