Description

Schubert: Sonata for arpeggione and piano in A minor, D.821 / Beethoven: 12 Variations on "Ein Madchen oder Weibchen" / 7 Variations on "Bei Mannern, welche Liebe fuhlen" (from Mozart's "Zauberflote") / 12 Variations on "Tochter Zion" (from Handels oratorium "Judas Makkabaus"). Maurice Gendron plays cello and Jean Francaix plays piano. Superb performance !!!

Label: Philips 802805 LY. Early red/silver label. First edition (ED1). Comes in deluxe fold-out cover. The vinyl of this Dutch stereo LP is near mint. VERY RARE !!!
