Description

Absolutely beautiful copy of the original 1961 stereo edition of Otto Klemperer conducting Schubert's Symphony in C Major, "The Great", on UK Columbia SAX-2397. Original blue & silver labels. The disc is very near perfect mint and plays flawlessly and beautifully. The flip-back cover has only slight wear and is also in remarkably lovely shape. There is slight wear on the lower right corner, and a short tear at the top right corner (see photo). An old price tag is still attached but can be take off easily with some lighter fluid (I have run out at the moment). There is also a name written on the back, but aside from these things it is a lovely cover with only light shelfwear. Some of the usual disc impression and a few little dings in the lamination, but it is unusually crisp and clean for one of these flimsy covers. Anyhow it is a top copy and just beautiful.
