HMV ASD 602/603 - Bruckner - Symphony n.8 c - Schuricht, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra

Vinyl: Side 1: NM+ / Side 2: NM+ / Side 3: A 0.8mm sweep is providing 4 ultra soft tics. Otherwise NM+ / Side 4: A 1 cm long needle drop is causing a shallow scratch, not feelable. Still I could hear15 repetitive soft tics, then pauses for a while and then causes another 9 soft tics. None of these small defects actually interfere with the pleasure of listening to this gem by the way. Otherwise NM+. None of the labels bare spindle traces. This set must have been played only a very few times. Sonics and dynamics are fabulous. No occasional tics, just silence and great music. Fully play graded - no guess work!
Just to be precise: above mentioned are all 'minor' faults. Over 98% of this record is playing NM+ or flawless - the records look like new, as if produced yesterday. No spindle marks indicating that this record has not been played much. Full spectrum sonics & dynamics throughout this magnificent recording.
I grade visually and (partly) play grade whenever in doubt. Stereo issues on a Linn LP12 with a Lyra Delos cartridge. Mono issues on a Thorens TD135 with a General Electric VRII cartridge; please be aware that this is a true mono Variable Reluctance cartridge, thus playing with a minimum of groove noise and hardly picking up any imperfections that these older mono records frequently have
I recently purchased a large collection, so expect many more quality listings over the next few month. Most of the records are in EX+ condition or better. However a part of this collection has been played with most probably Lenco fluid and records have been stored wet in their plastic inners. This residue of Lenco fluid is easy to clean, but I have not done so as I believe everybody has his own favourite method. Many thanks for bearing this in mind and your understanding
As I don't have my own professional cleaning equipment, I consider (and recommend) this to the buyer. In my experience records easily gain a grade with professional cleaning

Dear Ebuyers: For some reason, Ebay has decided that shipment to the US for this category is not allowed to exceed $4. Actual shipping from the Netherlands is currently Euro 18.10 for a package up to 2 kilograms for World shipping. I convert this amount monthly to USD with xe.com and add $1 and a bit for the costs of the new fillers, etcetera.
