Description
This is a BRAND NEW STILL SEALED 1984 U.S. MERCURY RECORDS LP WITH RARE CLEAN COVER ARTWORK AND HYPE STICKER titled 'Love At First Sting' from popular german heavy metallers Scorpions. It is Mercury Records U.S. catalog number 822 038-1 M-1, retail copy with hype sticker and UPC bar code on the back cover. This album contains the all time classic Scorpions track 'Rock You Like A Hurricane'.
This album was originally issued with front cover artwork that was apparently too racy for sale in certain department stores - After a complaint from Wal-Mart Mercury Records redesigned the front album cover with the 'clean' picture of the group as shown in my accompanying image of the LP on offer in this listing. The 'clean cover' version on offer here was only sold in a few larger department stores and is MUCH RARER than the original racy cover issue which was sold in most retail outlets.
