Description
- A stereo, 33 1/3 rpm, vinyl LP, "Scott 4" by Scott Engel (a.k.a. Scott Walker)
- Released in 1969 on the Philips label.
- This is Scott Walker's 5th solo album, and the 4th to include original material (in this case every track is an original composition)
- This original release was brought out under his real name. It failed to chart and was subsequently deleted. All subsequent re-releases were as Scott Walker.
- Recorded at Olympic Studios, in London, and released on November 7th, 1969.
- Produced by John Franz, with Keith Grant and Adrian Kerridge as engineers
- All tracks are credited to Noel Scott Engel.

- Cover:
- The matt, gatefold sleeve was designed by John Constable.
- The front cover has a photograph of Scott Engel, the back cover features a quote by Albert Camus
- The inside spread has a collage of photos from the recording sessions, interspersed with images related to various tracks (such as Albert Camus, Joseph Stalin, a still from 'The Seventh Seal' etc.). There is also a full track listing with production and recording credits.
- Plain, white paper, inner sleeves with 'MADE IN ENGLAND' and 'PATENT NO- 1,125,555,' printed on them
- 'Orange' CBS labels

- Condition
- The vinyl is G+ (visually graded) with a sizeable, light scratch on side 1. No other noticeable marks or scratches
- The sleeve is G+, no marks but some edge wear, particularly on the spine, and light ring wear and some faint creasing
- The inner sleeve is in good, undamaged condition with some light creasing. However, a previous owner has written the title and their name and address on the sleeve (see photo)
