Description

SCOTT WALKER ANY DAY NOW RARE VINYL LP on PHILIPS 6308 148 UK pressing from 1973

Any Day Now is perhaps Scott Walker's rarest LP  It has never been reissued as its likely that Scott Walker

is not too happy with his 70s output   considering them his "Wilderness Years"

 Tracks are  SIDE ONE

ANY DAY NOW

THE ME I NEVER KNEW

IF SHIPS WERE MADE TO SAIL

WE COULD BE FLYING

Arranged and conducted by Peter Knight

Scott Walker is one of my favourite   Vocalists and   I think his own Songs and material is extraordinary  So I can Understand why this album

has been unfairly overlooked - Its Not SCOTT 4  or TILT for that matter  - But it has some moments of Sheer Vocal and instrumental Class

I think if you are not familiar with this album you will be pleasantly surprised at how good it is !

CONDITION -   I try to Grade very strictly based on   RECORD COLLECTOR  Guidelines

Sleeve Is very Close to EXCELLENT  There is a tiny  closed tear on the rear sleeve (about 5mm) on the opening edge

VINYL  I have graded at VERY GOOD as there is a surface mark of about 1cm on the title track - which was barely audible on my Deck (GOLDRING LENCO)

apart  from 2 small pops for one revolution - otherwise Its   EXCELLENT  throughout .

You will be pleased to learn there is no reserve and a low starting price

Many thanks for reading and good luck with your bids !
