RARER THAN THE MONO

at this time, stereo was in its infancy, and way more mono copies of this album were sold than stereo

primarily because many record buyers believed that a stereo record might not be playable on their primitive mono equipment

consequently, it is a fallacy to claim that mono issues are always more scarce than stereo

even in the case of more underground and 'hip' acts such as The Jimi Hendrix Experience

(original 1st press stereo copies of Are You Experienced? and Axis : Bold As Love are considerably harder to find than the relatively plentiful mono pressings)

whatever. . . this is a brilliant album - and way superior (with richer, clearer and more diverse audio) in stereo than mono anyway

lovely UK original. . .

the thick, heavy, high quality, 'deep groove' 1st press stereo record is near mint with super high gloss surfaces and only minimal signs of handling and storage

matt 'rough' textured black & silver labels mint with no spindle traces whatsoever

fully laminated (front & rear) cover is a beauty with blazing gloss to the lamination

grades very near mint with perfect spine and seams - sharp corners and opening edges - a fabulous example!
