Description
An excellent double vinyl copy of Scott Walker's avant garde/experimental recording from 2006 entitled "The Drift". This is a rare, two x long player, promotion release, catalogue number CAT-NO Drift 1, ( the normal one is CAD 2603), with the full colour booklet with lyrics, the press sheet sent out to radio stations written by Ian Penman, and a timeline insert for Scott Walker's post Walker Brothers career. A special edition which was limited to 500 copies. All complete and in excellent condition. The vinyls are in mint condition having being played once. On the back cover of the outside sleeve are the words "promotional use only" in small lettering. Forget the CD format - this promo is the format with the investment value.
If you want to get the latest listening update from this exceptionally fine voice, singing songs with some depth and meaning, then this is your bag. It may be way beyond most people's musical planes, but then, that's a very good reason for listening to it. Quite quite different.
