• RECORD GRADE DETAILS

These records are from my personal collection of 35 years of hunting and I want them to go to a good home and to be enjoyed. 

Most importantly, I strive for customer satisfaction and
the good feeling of a transaction free of hassles and an item improperly graded/represented.

Here is a detailed explanation of our grading system as it applies to vinyl records:

• NM (Near Mint): Our highest grade. Like new, most likely unplayed.
• VG++: A record that has a few visual imperfections that will not affect the sound. Likely played only a handful of times or never at all.
• VG+: A few more surface marks than a VG++. The record has probably been played before but well taken care of and should play with very few audible imperfections.
• VG: The record will display light surface scuffs and marks. Expect some light surface noise in parts or a few clicks or pops here and there. A VG record will play with very minimal noise and will still be quite enjoyable. We think our VG grade is conservative.
• VG-: The record may have some deeper audible scratches. There will be some clicks and pops more consistently than that of a VG record but will play without skipping.
• G: The record will have heavy wear, deep scratches and very apparent surface noise, clicks or pops.
• Poor: Records with this grade should be considered unplayable.
Cover grades:

Although no description is given for cover grades, a bidder should be aware that a cover that is graded NM will be like new and with no apparent wear or defects and a cover that is graded Poor will be a wreck that is still desirable based on scarcity, historical importance or other market demand. All grades between these two extremes will be logically applied to the item on auction and major defects will be noted in the item description as necessary.

Mark William Lanegan (born November 25, 1964) is an American alternative rock musician and singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Ellensburg, Washington, Lanegan began his musical career in 1984, forming the grunge band Screaming Trees with Gary Lee Conner, Van Conner and Mark Pickerel. During his time in the band, Lanegan also started a low-key solo career and released his first solo studio album, The Winding Sheet, in 1990. Since 1990, he has released a further six studio albums and has received critical recognition and moderate commercial success.

Along with Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, and Nirvana, Screaming Trees were part of Seattle's emerging grunge scene in the early 1990s. The band was formed in late 1984 by Mark Lanegan, guitarist Gary Lee Conner, bassist Van Conner and Mark Pickerel.[6] Mark Pickerel would later be replaced with Barrett Martin. Lanegan said "I was such a shitty drummer that they made me sing."[4] The band signed to Sub Pop, releasing the Other Worlds EP in 1985 (Originally available only in a cassette format, the album was re-released on CD and LP by SST Records in 1987).[6] Though the band was being courted by major labels, in 1985 they signed to Velvetone records to release their debut album, Clairvoyance.[6] Musically the album is a combination of psychedelic music and hard rock, while it bears many similarities to early grunge.[6]

In 1987, the band released their second effort, and their first for SST Records, Even If and Especially When.[6] After the release of the album in 1987 the band began working on the American indie circuit, playing shows across the US.[6] Their follow up album was Invisible Lantern released in 1988. Buzz Factory was the fourth full-length album by Screaming Trees and their final record released through SST released in 1989.
