Signed by lead singer Ben Weasel. Only 300 made (see scan). Tour edition in white vinyl, released in 1993. eBay prices: $163 + $154 + $153. This is probably the most sought after album by US band SCREECHING WEASEL. They covered the RAMONES first, self titled, LP as part of a tribute album series. RAMONES longplayers covered in their entirety. Only these 300 records were born on colored vinyl and the covers of all these tour presses were printed on two silkscreen pieces of felt. This silkscreened felt cover was issued in a slightly different color to the black vinyl issue sleeve. Released on 'Selfless' records in 1993. All songs are perfect cover versions, beautifully played and sung. Here is the complete track listing: ‘Blitzkrieg Bop’ / ‘Beat On The Brat’ / ‘Judy Is A Punk’ / ‘I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend’ / ‘Chainsaw’ / ‘Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue’ / ‘I Don’t Wanna Go Down To The Basement’ / ‘Loudmouth’ / ‘Havana Affair’ / ‘Listen To My Heart’ / ‘53rd & 3rd’ / ‘Let’s Dance’ / ‘I Don’t Wanna Walk Around With You’ and ‘Today Your Love, Tomorrow The World’. You will love this album if you like NOFX, BAD RELIGION, PARASITES, RANCID or QUEERS. The corners of the felt cover shows a few bends (see scan) otherwise the condition is:
Condition / Zustand: EX/M- (very clean, sehr gut erhalten)
Postage & Packaging / Porto & Verpackung:
OUTSIDE GERMANY (all countries): $7 or £5 or €6
DEUTSCHLAND für 1-26 LPs selber Preis: €6 (DHL-Paket, versichert)
Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders which exceed a value of €20 or £15 or $22 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional of €2,50 or £2 or $2.70. All winners from Italy must pay for registered mail. Deutsche ausschließlich per Banküberweisung. Good luck with your bids from Germany’s record seller ‘punky_music‘ (old name ‘punkdealer‘)
