Description
"Screen Guild Players" radio show transcription discs recorded by The American Broadcasting Company. One complete 30 minute radio program on these two 16 inch, one sided, black lacquer acetate coated aluminum, 33 1/3 rpm discs. These discs were recorded for reference purposes only and not available to the general public, very rare!
"Screen Guild Players" radio program from October 14, 1948 featuring a radio adaptation of the Paramount movie "Welcome Stranger". Program stars Bing Crosby, Barry Fitzgerald & Mona Freeman. Bing Crosby sings "My Heart Is A Hobo" & "As Long As I'm Dreaming". Program is sponsored by Camel Cigarettes with commercials
Discs are in Excellent+ condition Excellent+ sound, beautiful discs!
Please note that most standard turntables will not play 16 inch discs due to their size. For $10 I can make a CD of both discs for the buyer only
