If you are looking for great REEL TO REEL tapes ADD US TO YOUR FAVORITES LIST! We specialize in HIGH QUALITY open reel recordings of music, personality interviews, old radio shows and more. Tape speed is usually 15ips but we also sell recordings at 7.5ips, 3.75ips
and occasionally 30ips.
Every tape has been checked for quality. Most of the tapes are in near perfect condition but If there's a problem, we'll tell you. You won't have to "guess" about what you are getting. Our goal is for YOU to be happy with your purchase. If we make a mistake there's no need to get angry. TELL US ABOUT IT. If it's humanly possible, we will fix the problem to YOUR satisfaction!

Several years ago we were fortunate to have been able to purchase a very large part of the tape library that at one time resided at the Capricorn Studios in Macon Georgia. The second picture in the photo gallery is a small (very small) sampling of some of the boxes included in the collection, showing the various studio labels (or lack of studio labels) representative of the tapes in the collection. The collection has tapes of every size and format. Everything from 1/4", 4 track to 2", 24 track was included. Over the next several months we will be offering tapes by such artists as:

OF SEA LEVEL RECORDED LIVE AT MY FATHER'S PLACE (ROSLYN, NY) MARCH 1978
This auction is for a set of very rare Capricorn Studios tapes of Sea Level performing live at My Father's Place in Roslyn, NY in March of 1978. The concert was recorded in 3 segments and appears here on two rolls of tape as segments 1 and 2 are combined on one roll. The 2 reels are recorded on non-backcoated tape so there is no worry about sticky-shed syndrome or other similar problems.
Reel 1 - Segment 1 Tidal Wave Shake a Leg The Rain in Spain
Reel 1 - Segment 2 King Grand That's Your Secret Midnight Pass
Reel 2 - Segment 3 Country Fool Grand Larceny
Both reels play fine with no issues or problems. What is here is fabulous. The sound is excellent and the performance is great! As far as we are aware, there is no other recording of this concert available anywhere!
All tapes come in the boxes shown with the notations as written on the boxes.
All tapes are shipped tails out (they need to be rewound BEFORE playing!) on the reel and in the boxes shown.
