PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Not sure how many Spur Of The Moment albums were pressed. Probably 500? Spur was an unknown Illinois band who gained some local notoriety in the late 60?s but never hit the big time (they opened for many of the era’s big bands: The Byrds, Cream, Bob Seger, Steve Miller and The Grateful Dead). Spurs only LP remains as footprints in the sand from the pride of Belleville, IL, circa 1968. Garage rural-rock that urges the inner you to awaken, while triggering your dancing bones. Fans of Byrds, Youngbloods and the Dead (to name but a few) are sure to find some glints and flashes back in these rare grooves. Spur was similar to thousands of local garage bands that flourished for awhile, may have released an album or single, and then quietly disappeared into the mists of time. They may have been a cut above the average local band but ultimately were never able to attain any lasting commercial appeal.Spur Of The Moments is a nice slice of history and a tribute to the lost dreams of American garage bands. While Spur of the Moments is by no means a cohesive, album-like statement, each song is finely crafted 60?s rock n roll that’s well worth a spin. Spur started out life as a garage band who called themselves The Unknowns. The Unknowns would eventually change their name to Spur and touch on a variety of classic 60?s sounds: garage, folk-rock, heavy psych and rural-rock. Spur were certainly long-lived by 60?s standards (1965-1972) but they were also a group who frequently revamped their sound/style and spent very little time in the recording studio. "Spur Of The Moment" features an array of raw rock & roll and psychedelic rural-rock that’s highlighted by fluid guitar work and mild studio experimentation. Overall sounds like Spur may have been listening to The Byrds’ Notorious Byrd Brothers album. and overall a good one to own if you’re into Moby Grape, The Byrds or Buffalo Springfield.

CONDITION: thick cardboard cover is::::STILL FACTORY SEALED overall is a very solid cover, evem though some light dust has settled underneath the sealed cellophane and that will wipe off easily. The cover is not discolored, no faded colors, no split aeams, no delete marks, no writing and never opened/never played, remaining still factory sealed fromclose to 45 years ago
