Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. - Very obscure/Rare LAST "Lovin' Spoonful" album recorded in 1968 and released in 1969...Besides the Spoonful member, Joe Butler, original Lovi' Spoonful member "Zal Yanovsky" also appears.

- By 1969 Singer John Sebastian had left the band to go solo. The Lovin' Spoonful had several mid-sixties hits, the band, however, began to implode after a 1967 marijuana bust in San Francisco involving main Spoonful character Zal Yanovsky, a Canadian citizen. Facing deportation, he revealed the name of his dealer to police, which caused a fan backlash and added to the internal tension already created by the band members' diverging interests.
The band is billed here as "the Lovin' Spoonful Featuring Joe Butler." Just when everybody had written them off after Sebastian's departure, this flawed gem came out of nowhere. Butler's smooth voice had graced a few tracks on all of the past LPs, in addition to having a few of his own tunes included. He comes into his own here, but unfortunately, his three originals are the weakest songs on the LP, especially the ultra-hip sound collage "War Games." However, the great song writing team of Bonner and Gordon came up with three strong tunes, including the hit "Me About You" (previously done by The Turtles) and the fine "(Till I) Run with You" (the title of the LP as written on the label), with John Stewart supplying the best track, the gorgeous "Never Going Back."

Spoonful bassist Steve Boone says he played on the session, but for some reason producer Chip Douglas wiped his part and re-recorded it.
As to the rest of the album, Boone has said he doesn't play on any of it. On the other hand, Zal Yanovsky plays on a couple tracks, 'Words' and 'The Prophet'.
