Pristine sealed 60's version of this classic Beatles LP and in TOP condition for picky collectors!!!
The Beatles' Second Album in Stereo format from the 1960's (SEALED condition) and this one is a beauty from my own personal collection. I obtained this gorgeous LP years ago from Perry Cox himself (a friend of mine for 36 years now and someone that I have increased my collection from with his beautiful, original Beatles albums over the years). Capitol Records ST-2080. Pristine in a solid NM condition all around.
This sealed album is about as good as it gets, other than having an original 1964 sealed Stereo version which would easily cost you $800 and upwards. This particular album has the RIAA #9 located on the back cover in the bottom right section (which indicates it was manufactured & pressed at the Jacksonville, IL plant) and is most likely a 1968 pressing with probably the original Capitol label on the record itself - but should not rule out that it could be the green Capitol label. I tend to think by all indicators here that sealed inside is a 1968 original label version, and that is my opinion only based on my decades of collecting Beatles LPs. Either way it is a magnificent original Capitol version from the 60's of this legendary album and it is as pristine as they come.
Four sharp corners with just the slightest 1/4" push on the back side of the upper right corner (very tiny and most people would probably miss seeing it - but I list items for the most discriminating collectors and just how I would like to read it myself if I were buying it).
Perfect shrink seal all around both sides of LP and on corners! How rare is that? I located one breathe hole on front cover (possibly a second one exists underneath the store price sticker) and there are two breathe holes on back cover near the spine.
