The item:
This is a still sealed copy of The Beatles Abbey Road! I'd grade it at a 9 / 10 condition.
There is no listing of the song her Majesty, & the Apple SO-383 catalog number appears in the corner on the back, I do believe this is a pressing from 1969 when the album was released.
This particular variation is the cropped photo with the hole in the street gone & the front cover wrapping around & peeking onto the back side slightly. It's known as a paste style cover which factories did.
NOTE: there is a small tear beginning to happen on the back side to the shrink, not very big & almost not noticeable but never goes away once you notice. It looks like someone must have slipped their finger somehow & gave it this small tear, as it's not torn off but a little flap that will lift up if you're in the wind.
There are also some aging spots you can see on the spine & the very front top part.
Overall, this appears to be a solid copy. The person i got this from got it from some estate sale with a load of things & did not know who it belonged to prior. I understand some people are heavy collectors & far more knowledgeable, I have some knowledge but don't know it all!
PLEASE NOTE: I'm selling as is! I'm not claiming anything other than this is in nice shape for an unopened record! Nothing else is being guaranteed by me - not even the part about it being a 1969 issue...I think it really is but I am not guaranteeing it & not opening it to find out! I have a sealed Let It Be & that's good enough for me, I can let this go to a happy home.
I know sometimes records were re-wrapped, some of the re-issues were done exactly like the originals...these are all things I could sit & speculate on, but I'm not guaranteeing anything because I do not know for sure! Selling it as is!
