This is a SUPER RARE Factory Sealed East Wind Japanese Direct-to-Disc LP with, judging by other copies we have played over the years, SUPERB SOUND. The boys do a fantastic version of Greensleeves here, flawlessing switching idioms from swing to bossa nova to bop.

The shrink is torn a bit at the top left and bottom right corners resulting in some very minor corner crushing. Otherwise, the fold open cover appears to be in flawless condition. The back still has the Distributed by Nautilus sticker and the Nautilus t-shirt offer. The chances of finding another copy in this kind of condition are slim indeed.
AMG Biography Altoist/flutist Bud Shank and Brazilian acoustic guitarist Laurindo Almeida first teamed up in the 1950s to create music that predated but strongly hinted at bossa nova. In 1974, they reunited to form the L.A. Four with bassist Ray Brown and drummer Chuck Flores. With Shelly Manne and later Jeff Hamilton replacing Flores on drums, the L.A. Four recorded eight albums for Concord through 1982, breaking up shortly afterward. Their mixture of cool-toned bop, Brazilian-oriented music, and ballads was quite attractive.
NOTE ON PACKING AND SHIPPING You will never receive a record from us packed in a flimsy cardboard mailer. We use HEAVY DUTY oversized cardboard boxes with cardboard protectors sandwiching the record and plenty of bubble wrap all around. After more than twenty years in the record business one thing we know is how to pack records properly, so rest assured the package will arrive at your door safe and sound.
