SEALED ELVIS ARON PRESLEY 8 LP BOX SET 25TH ANNIVERSARY - NUMBERED LIMITED EDITION (Y00388)
This was an 8 LP box set released in 1980 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his recording debut. Side one of the first disc is an early live performance recorded at the New Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas in the spring of 1956. Side two is a thirteen minute monologue recorded on the set of one of his movies.
The second disc is a concert performed March 25, 1961 in Honolulu Hawaii. Scotty Moore, D.J. Fontana, Boots Randolph, Floyd Cramer, Bobby Moore and Hank Garland were in this band.
The third disc is alternate versions of previously released songs from his films.
Disc four contains songs from Elvis’ 1968, 1973 and 1977 TV specials.
The fifth disc is ten songs from various Las Vegas concerts.
The sixth disc contain "lost singles" such as “Softly, As I Leave You,” “Fool,” “The First Time Ever I Saw You Face” and “America The Beautiful.”
Side one of disc seven has three songs taken from the Fool album and “Beyond The Reef,” a rare Elvis studio track Side two is an unreleased performance from 1975.
Disc eight is the 1975 concert in conclusion.
