NOTE FROM SELLER:

This is the original U.S. first pressing of Elvis Sings Flaming Star and Others, released in 1968 exclusively through Singer Sewing Machine Company stores. Issued under the catalog number PRS-279, this edition predates the more common RCA Camden reissue (CAS-2304, 1969).

Format: Vinyl LP, Stereo

Label: RCA Victor / Singer Presents

Catalog Number: PRS-279

Country: U.S.

Released: October 1968 (exclusive Singer edition)

Tracklist:

Side 1: Flaming Star / Wonderful World / Night Life / All I Needed Was the Rain / Too Much Monkey Business

Side 2: Yellow Rose of Texas / Eyes of Texas / She’s a Machine / Do the Vega / Tiger Man

Rare Singer Presents first pressing with catalog number PRS-279.

Sold only in Singer stores in 1968 as part of the promotion tied to Elvis’s ’68 Comeback Special.

Distinct from later RCA Camden reissues (CAS-2304, 1969 and onward).

This Singer Presents first pressing (PRS-279, 1968) was originally issued without any bonus photo or inserts. The album came only with the standard cover and vinyl record. Unlike some other Elvis releases of the era, no promotional photo was ever included with this edition.
