Description

Grace Slick w/The Great Society -  Conspicuous Only In It's Absence  Released in 1968 on Columbia Records Catalog No. CS 9624
This performance was recorded in 1966 at The Matrix, a small nightclub in the Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco, whose house band was Jefferson Airplane. Momentum for The Great Society began to build as they started opening for Jefferson Airplane and other successful local bands, with Columbia Records offering The Great Society a recording contract. However, by the time the contract arrived in the mail, Grace had decided to replace departing vocalist Signe Toly Anderson in Jefferson Airplane.
Because the record is sealed, the vinyl is presumed to be mint. The Sleeve is also in mint condition. There is no shelf wear or ring wear, no seam splits. The corners are sharp.
