Description

This is an original SEALED pressing of the self-titled album by the Ohio hard rock heavy guitar band Lodestar. This is a great lp, full of heavy, blistering guitar work, often compared to other hard rock rarities such as Totty or Morly Grey. Every song is laden with screaming leads and a rough, in your face attitude. Private press lp was recorded by the band in a home studio and was produced by a band members’ father, Jimmy Crain, who cut some collectible early rock records, so the sound is great with effects such as phasing even giving some songs a hard psych edge at times. Released in the late 70’s (’77 or ’79 seems to be the prevailing guess from band members), this lp sounds much more like early 70’s and should be popular with hard rock/metal fans and fans of very heavy psych as well. Perfect SEALED copy. Very rare lp on the heavy rock collectors market. Winner pays $5.00 1st Class/Priority Mail or $3.00 book rate.
