Description

Sealed and perfectly mint copy of the original 1959 pressing of the Ritchie Family of Kentucky LP on Folkways FA-2316. Legendary folk singer Jean Ritchie talks and sings with her musical family, in a fascinating documentary on the vanishing folk music of America, one of her most poignant records. This is the true first pressing with the blue cover, reissued later with a tan cover. Includes the booklet, of course. All Mijt and untouched. The shrinkwrap is torn a little on the back, and the very top of the back part of the cover is faded a little (see photos) but really it is a perfectly mint copy. Absolutely gorgeous. Impossible to beat.
