You probably already know about this "burning flames" album front cover being recalled as it was released only five days before the plane crash that killed three members of the band and seriously injured several others. At the request of the band member widows it was replaced with a photo of the band members (see rear cover) on a solid black background. In the 2000's it has been reissued with the original cover in 180g, remastered, and MFSL formats on vinyl, just don't confuse them for the original. There were a good number of originals sold, but not nearly as many as you might think before the cover change. While open copies of the original are ubiquitous, sealed copies are rather scarce.

It should be noted that that little flap of shrinkwrap on the rear cover near the lower left corner is inside the shrink, not outside (giving the impression of a tear); there is no tear in the shrink. Most price this album way too high; it ususually sells for $60-$100. We're not greedy, fifty bucks is fine with us.
