PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
STILL SEALED original first US pressing on Columbia from 1988 with lyric inner sleeve and original oversized five-song hype sticker in the top left hand corner on the front cover!!! Four sharp corners. You will not be disappointed. Even has the original $7.99 Rolling Stones Records (represent, Chicago!) price sticker at the top with iconic balloon lettering. A sone mint copy with airtight provenance. This is what collecting is about. Now for the real reason you're reading this. Auction also includes an ULTRA RARE original rigid double-sided 12 X 12 in-store promotional display put out by CBS Records in 1988 with glossy album cover art on one side and promotional text in the bottom right hand corner!!! I purchased this many years ago from a former Tower Records (R.I.P.) manager here in Chicago who was a Priest fan and decided to rescue this display from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive). She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed. Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result VERY few survived from the 1980s. This display is in pristine condition with NO pin/staple holes, tape residue, peel spots, rips, tears or stains whatsoever. Near impossible to find in this condition. These are the kinds of rarities Preist fans are going to be fighting over fiercely in the very near future so don't sleep metal collectors. You will not be disappointed.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
