Listed below are seven standard categories with a description of what each one means. Use this as a guide for details not evident in the pictures.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.  The cover and any extra items, such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster, are in perfect condition as well. Records advertised as "Sealed" or "Unplayed" should be MINT.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.  Normal wear and tear on the  cover or extra items are without any major defects and considered acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated; more than likely accompanied with distortion and mild scratches.  The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing or edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.  The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken. The cover is missing or no longer useful.   BAD records may only be useful as a collection-filler. 

SHIPPING and HANDLING: No hidden costs! Just bid and you get the following:

HANDLING: All records and covers are cleaned!
When necessary, new blank, white sleeves will accompany the record. This is sometimes to protect the original art sleeve during shipping. Mostly, I don't like putting clean records back into the old sleeve. Feel free to keep or discard the white sleeve if yours comes with one. Rest assured, if your record comes with a fancy sleeve (like pictured), the white sleeve is extra and will not replace original sleeves.
Also, your record will come with a new, 3mil, clear plastic outer sleeve! 
PACKAGING: I take great pride in the carful handling of  your record/s.  First, all records will be packed with the record and sleeve removed from the cover and placed on top (to prevent seam splitting and record damage). Next, cardboard stiffeners will be taped in place to insure the record will not move around during shipping. Then, large bubble wrap will be placed on top and bottom inside a 13"x13" cardboard box. Finally, "fragile handle with care" stickers are placed on the outside.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS: I have a 14 day refund and return policy.  Buyer pays return shipping. If the record comes in a lesser condition than listed or pictured, please contact me with details and your request for refund or return.
