48-year-old sealed original GEM that looks like it just came off the shelves at a 1970 record store!
Original sealed 1970 first pressing of Paul McCartney's LP entitled, "McCartney" on Apple Records STAO-3363. A beautifully sealed first pressing LP and this is your FINAL upgrade copy! I am very strict on my grading standards and this one is in solid NM condition for the picky & discriminating collectors!!!
This is the first pressing from 1970 on Apple Label STAO-3363 with custom apple labels on vinyl. This particular sealed LP has the Broadway NY address on back bottom right corner.
Four sharp corners - with no issues seen. This is a sealed gatefold album!
Tight shrink all around entire album with four of the sharpest corners you'll ever see on an LP. This is as good as it gets, folks! One large breathe hole on front cover about 3/4 way down. Absolutely no issues on the seams, spine or mouth either. What a RARE find indeed. Check out the price tag - remember when we could get albums for under $4 brand new and sealed? Wow!
This is the legendary album that signaled the very end of The Beatles and the beginning of the solo Beatles era. Ringo, George and John had all threatened to leave the band for several years leading up to 1970, yet it was Paul's release of this album that made the headlines. This LP also has historic value attached to it.
