Offered for sale is a sealed early U.S. pressing of The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, including both posters and both stickers.
Note: This copy is from 1973, 74, or 75; see below for more details.
About this copy: This copy of The Dark Side of the Moon is 1973-1975 U.S. pressing on the Harvest label.
As the album is still sealed, the record is new and unplayed. The album should contain two stickers and two posters.
The shrink is fully intact except for a small tear less than 1/2" on the top and bottom of the opening side from storage. Corners are sharp (See Photos)
There is a hype sticker attached to the shrink wrap that says “Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon.” The sticker does say “Made in USA” below the catalog number. An original price sticker is attached to the wrap.
The change in wording on the hype sticker to include “Made in USA” was made shortly after release, so some 1973 pressings had this wording on the sticker. There are differences between the 1973, 1974 and 1975 U.S. pressings, but they are on the inside of the cover, so we cannot determine the version.
I purchased this copy from the original owner, and this was a double (sadly, I don't remember the exact pressing).
Post-1975 pressings were on the Capitol label, rather than Harvest, so while this copy may be a 1973 issue, it is definitely a pressing from no later than 1975.
A nearly perfect copy of a classic LP that is rarely found in this condition.
