PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This legendary underground Lp came out over 45 years ago, sometime around June 1970 with custom artwork slip-sheet and full printed black & blue ...not showing TMOQ manufacturing but certainly TMOQ original pressing plates. Guaranteed!
The material has pretty nice sound quality and is from two shows: "A Night at the Family Dog" and "Go Ride The Music," both produced by music critic and Rolling Stone co-founder Ralph J Gleason. This 1970 RARE recording LP collects all Jefferson Airplane songs presented as an off-beat TV special that most fans never heard or viewed, and it's real good.
In We Can Be Together, Paul Kantner included the line, "Up against the wall, motherfucker" which led to a long struggle between the band and RCA over its inclusion on their studio LP (it's voiced within the "Volenteers" Lp.) The company finally backed down and the band played the song on as they oroiginally wrote not only on their LP but as well on the nationally syndicated "Dick Cavett Show" on August 19, 1969. Thus, Grace Slick became the very first person in history to say “fuck” on American television, the day after Woodstock; Slick actually sings “motherfucker” if you want to split hairs. The phrase referred to the Dada-influenced anarchist affinity group of the same name based in New York City.
