SEALED ~ THE BEATLES "SGT. PEPPERS LHCB" ~ CAPITOL SMAS 2658 ~ 76-79 PRESSING ~ COVER: MINT- ~ RECORD: MINT  (see the 2nd paragraph for the reason I graded the cover MINT-)
What more can I say about The Beatles album that's considered one of the greatest LPs ever made. When this amazing title was first released in June of 1967, it changed the  sound of music for a generation and many generations to follow. This BEAUTIFUL MINT condition copy of "SGT. PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" has 4-Sharp corners, great looking Shrink-wrap and NO UPC barcode. This pressing was made between the 1976 & 1979 period and has the original Capitol SMAS 2658 catalog number and NO UPC barcode. At some point during the 76-79 pressing period, Capitol switched to a much simpler process for manufacturing their album covers and Capitol began to print the album graphics (artwork) directly onto the surface of the White-board. There is no documentation (according to Beatle expert Perry Cox) of the exact dates this cover change occurred for all the Beatle albums and the date would be different for each pressing plant. 
This BEAUTIFUL MINT condition copy of "SGT. PEPPERS LHCB" with 4-Sharp corners, Great looking Shrink-wrap and NO UPC barcode has one small issue I want all my buyers to be aware of; On the lower-right front side, there is a 5/8" split on the seam of the shrink-wrap. This small shrink-wrap slip begins at the very lower-sight corner and goes up the right side 5/8" (five-eights of an inch). This small split is barely visible from a front view and to really see the split, you need to turn the LP to view it from the right side. This is the only reason I graded the cover as MINT- instead of MINT.
AGAIN, THIS LP WAS PART OF A LARGE RECORD COLLECTION I PURCHASED ABOUT 35 YEARS AGO.  
I have been a serious collector of Beatle records & memorabilia since 1969. In addition, I've spent most of my career (1971 to 2004) in the record business in different executive positions. 
During the past 2 years, Heritage Auctions in Dallas sold a large portion of my personal collection including; over 22 Autographed Guitars, 18-20 Gold & Platinum Record Awards, numerous signed posters & famous photographs, as well as other rare items from; The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, & other major acts. 
PLEASE NOTE:  I gladly accept returns within a 14-day period. The important thing is to communicate to me as soon as possible. Preferably notify me by email on the same day you receive your album so I can quickly work out a solution that will make you, my customer happy with an acceptable solution to a problem. ANY SEALED RECORD MAY NOT BE RETURNED once/if the Shrink-Wrap has been opened. I highly advise (for highest collectors value) to always keep a sealed LP in it's sealed state.

SHIPPING DETAILS All Records are placed Into a Thick PVC Sleeve before carefully securing the item in New Corrugated or Bubble-Wrap material before packing in strong, new (200 Lb Burst Test) corrugated mailers specially made for shipping LP's or 45s. Before packing, all unsealed records are always removed from their covers or Picture Sleeves and placed in a new poly-lined sleeve for better protection and so the record is never inside it's cover during shipment to insure there'll be no seam splits caused by the record during shipment. Requirement.      -From my own experience, there is nothing worse than finally receiving the item you've been waiting for to only discover it was ruined in the shipping process due to the use of sub-standard shipping materials and or a sloppy job of packing was done by the seller. 
International bidders are welcome however, all International Buyers must live in a country served by the Ebay International Shipping Program.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING DETAILS

IMPORTANT: For domestic orders, please wait for my invoice before paying for your auction winnings or eBay will invoice the shipping costs incorrectly. 

I only accept payment through Paypal. Payment must be received within 72 hours after receipt of my invoice. Please contact me immediately if you have any problems with these arrangements. I am always willing to work with buyers who communicate in a timely manner.

1. $6.00 for Priority Mail shipping & handling within the United States.

Please note: For Albums, the $6.00 cost only covers a portion of my total Priority Mail & Shipping Materials & Handling costs. Actual Priority Mail postage cost for an album is $9.10. Then I have the cost of new shipping & packing materials, time & gas. I am happy to pay about half the cost difference which my share is close to $5.00 to make sure your item is delivered quickly, insured, and with the ability to track it. You will also see the actual postage cost I pay which is printed right on the postage label. 

NOTE: The weight limit for 1st Class postage is 1 lb. so albums cannot be sent 1st class. 

For 45 records, 1st Class shipping & handling is $4.00. I will not use Media Mail and there is little or no cost difference. Personally I prefer to ship any 45 of value ($75 or more) by Priority Mail but this is the buyers choice. 

Please do not look at the method of postal rates as a way to save a buck. I've sold hundreds of items on eBay and have had zero damage or shipping problems. I've also bought hundreds of items on eBay and I've had to send back a large number of records which were all ruined from poor packing or USPS damage from sub-standard materials.    In my opinion, Media Mail is not a safe way to ship an item you've spent months searching for. 

2. International Shipping details & how customers are invoiced for International Shipment:

-$6.00 cost is for Priority Mail shipping & handling for your item to quickly arrive at the eBay International Distribution Center (IDC). This assures your package will be received at the IDC) with-in 2 days so they can quickly turn-around your shipment to your foreign destination. Normally, once your package arrive at the (IDC) it's usually turned around with all proper documents for your country and re-sent to your destination within 24-hours.

-The cost of international postage & customs documents & fees are detailed on your invoice. When you pay the total invoice amount, International shipping & customs, duties etc are automatically sent to the eBay International Shipping Center. I will only receive the USA Priority Mail cost for shipment to the IDC. If eBay does not properly calculate my USA shipping costs correctly, I will refund any difference the same day via Paypal and explain their error.

3. International rates from the USA are significantly higher due to recent rate increases of 40%. These rates are completely out of my control.

4. All shipments are insured and a tracking number will be supplied.
