Description
This is an original SEALED copy of the Soundtrack music from the TV show, "The Girl From U.N.C.L.E." It's the gate-fold jacket, and the stereo version: MGM SE-4410.
SHIPPING: I'm happy to discount shipping costs on the mailing of multiple purchases. The first 12" record ships for $4.00 and each additional one costs just $1.00 in combined mailings.
RECORD GRADING:
For vinyl I visually inspect a record, and if there are marks I play grade it. Often even long scratches are on the surface of the grooves only and don't affect the sound, but I check anyway. For old 78s, especially acoustic recordings, I usually play grade them. Surface marks are not a true indication of their sound quality. I try to balance clarity and energy (loudness) with surface noise. A VG record may have a lot of surface noise inherent in that technology but be clear and loud. Another one in VG-/G+ condition (average) may have less noise but a fainter energy level.
Keep in mind the standards for each kind of technology. A VG acoustic 78 will NOT sound as good as a VG vinyl record for example due to the surface noise and narrower frequency range. I play grade acoustic records on a Victor Granada player from 1926, later 78's on a 1960's 3-speed player with a ceramic cartridge, and vinyl with a good Audio-Technica turntable.
MINT / SEALED: Must be absolutely perfect and un-played with the shrink wrap still sealed.
NM: Out of the jacket but looks un-played. No visual marks other than fingerprints.
VERY GOOD: A minimum of visual or audible imperfections, which should not detract much from your enjoyment of owning them. Vinyl surface noise and some minor pops and clicks.
GOOD: The item is good enough to fill a gap in your collection until a better copy becomes available. It will show definite signs of wear and tear, but records in good condition should play all the way through without skipping.
If you want a number scale, think of MINT as 10, NM as 9, VG as 8, VG- as 7, G+ as 6, and G as 5. I do not usually sell records below a 6.5 (VG-/G+) unless they are rare and collectable.

MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS versus MOVIE STUDIOTRACKS:
In order to be a "soundtrack" release the music must be the same recording used on the film's soundtrack and heard by audiences in the theaters. If it is another recording, done in a studio for commercial release and not the version used on the film's soundtrack, it is a "studiotrack."
Many fine recordings are studiotracks. My personal favorite version of "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is the Ray Heindorf studiotrack released in the 1950s. But I will never call it a soundtrack. It isn't.
I am careful to accurately describe my listings and will not misrepresent the recordings because I am a serious collector. Most sellers don't make the distinction. Many "Music from . . ." albums are called soundtracks when they are not. If it doesn't say "soundtrack" on the record it probably isn't. The correct method, when unsure, is to call it a Film Score.

That would be $1.00 for each vinyl LP after the first purchase, and $1.00 for each 78 rpm disc after the first purchase. I sell both vinyl and old 78 rpm records. All shipments will be made to the address on your PayPal account.
