Original US 1st pressing of Back to the Egg, the final studio album by Paul McCartney & Wings, released in 1979 on Columbia Records. Still sealed in its original shrink wrap, this copy retains the store price sticker and promotional hype sticker highlighting featured tracks: “Getting Closer”, “Old Siam, Sir”, “Spin It On”, and “Arrow Through Me”.
The album includes standout tracks such as Reception, Spin It On, Arrow Through Me, Rockestra Theme, and So Glad to See You Here. Produced by Paul McCartney and Chris Thomas, it was recorded at multiple studios including Spirit of Ranachan Studio (Scotland), Lympne Castle (Kent), Replica Studio (London), and EMI Studios (London).
This sealed copy preserves both the vibrant front artwork of the band peering into space, and the back cover with photos of Paul McCartney, Linda McCartney, Denny Laine, Steve Holly, and Laurence Juber.
A fantastic collector’s item for any McCartney or Wings fan, especially rare in sealed condition.
