Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING:   USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire.   All Canadian and Overseas shipping ~ eBay requires Priority shipping rates on any order $400+ ~ Also, in the best interest of all of us, safe Express shipping rates on any order totaling $500+   CANADA ~ 1 single disc LP = $8.50.   OVERSEAS (all Countries) ~ 1 single disc LP = $17.00.   Discount shipping on multiple LPs in same order.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

                                 CBM RECORDS

SUPER RARE as STILL SEALED, never opened in approx 40 years ... Hard to find even used, let alone never opened. The old original CBM label dates back to the early TMOQ days and presented here with a pristine UNOPENED & MINT first print in thick cardboatd cover.

In July 1969, the Rolling Stones were riding high. Honky Tonk Women was about to be released, and they were gearing up for a triumphant gig in London's Hyde Park. Then tragedy struck. On 3 July, guitarist Brian Jones, who had left the band by mutual consent a month earlier, drowned in the swimming pool of his Sussex home, aged just 27. But the most lasting memorial was held two days after Jones's death, when his former bandmates paid tribute at the free concert in Hyde Park. Jagger, asking the audience to "cool it for a minute", read a poem by author 'Shelley' before thousands of butterflies were released above the crowds.   The Stones' performance at London's Hyde Park on July 5, 1969, was a landmark in several respects. It was Britain's first mammoth rock festival (attracting several hundred thousand spectators), was filmed for British TV, and was their first live performance with new guitarist Mick Taylor and though the group was a bit ragged, it played with reasonable power. Among the several highlights within, there is a very early performance of "Loving Cup" (not cut in the studio until Exile on Main St. a few years later), under the early working title of "Give Me A Drink".  And it's interesting for the inclusion of the rare "Lemon Squeezer" (never officially recorded by the group)...Overall, the album remains long rare from the early 70's and is a definite STONES collectible only getting harder to find, especially this CBM Issue... Side One: Eulogy For Brian Jones Lemon Squeezer Jumping Jack Flash Have Mercy Stray Cat Blues No Expectations I'm Free SIDE Two: Down Home Girl Love In Vain Give Me A Drink (Loving Cup) Honkey Tonk Women Mick Jagger – vocals, harmonica, tambourine
Keith Richards – guitar
Mick Taylor – guitar
Bill Wyman – bass
Charlie Watts – drums
