Description
What I’m offering is a SEALED promo copy of the LP by Duran Duran titled Rio, issued on Capitol ST-12211 in 1982. This is an ORIGINAL pressing and not a reissue of any kind.
The LP is missing a large portion of shrinkwrap in the top right corner area on the front and the top left corner area on the back. The shrinkwrap along the mouth is only sealed approximately two inches at the bottom of the cover. The record has never been out of the cover. The cover itself has a few light creases, dings in the corners, surface wear where the shrinkwrap is missing, and a diagonal surface scratch/ cut mark on the front and back where some shrinkwrap was cut off. This may have been done by Capitol Records so they could add the Property Of Capitol Records – Promotional Purposes Only stencil onto the front cover (see close-up scan). There is also a large hype sticker on the front shrinkwrap.
