SECOND LAYER – World Of Rubber *ORIG Cherry Red LP* B RED 14 (UK, Stereo, 1981)
Here’s the sole long player from Adrian Borland’s short-lived SECOND LAYER project. A cold wave classic!
The fully laminated sleeve is in VG+ (Very Good Plus) condition – just some small creases around the edges and a tiny patch of laminate flaking towards the opening edges. Some shelf rubs and edge wear to the bottom and a bit of corner wear. NO splits, writing, rips or tears.
The labels are fine, no writing, stickers, tears or other damage.
The vinyl is in a true visual EX (Excellent) condition – a scuff line to track 1/side 1 a couple of light hairlines – all only visible under strong light. NO scratches, embedded dirt, scrapes or dust pockets. IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays brilliantly with virtually no surface noise, no snap, crackle or pops, no clicks, hiss or distortion. Occasional light tick on Side 2 was all I picked up. A great, clean, clear and quiet listen which at least matches the visual grade.
Presented in plain inner sleeve.
