SEN. ROBERT BYRD - "Mountain Fiddler" LP. Original USA pressing on County Records. Issued 1978 (I think). 


SIGNED on the front cover by Byrd, with a personalized inscription to a local doctor. She was an avid collector of Spanish/ Latin records with a few folk and old time country records thrown in, and many of them were signed. I don't know who she was, otherwise, but maybe she treated some of these musicians? Or was just a big enough fan to go see them and meet them?

Anyway. autograph is 100% guaranteed to be authentic. The signature is nice; clear and legible, and exactly like the couple other signed copies you can see on the internet from previous sales (especially on that archive site for old eBay results).  
Otherwise, the cover is Near Mint as are labels and record itself (record actually appears to have been never played). This is a rare and sought-after LP on it's own, and with the signature from the late Senator (RIP) it's a rare piece indeed.
