Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

THE VINYL   EX+  INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly PRIZED 1st SPACESHIP //1 //1  pressing  with the STAMPED MATRIX NUMBERS - Stored from new this LP has seen possibly WAY UNDER AVERAGE plays only, and remains in pristine PLAY condition everywhere.

This  pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all like this.

We can see maybe a couple of tiny spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

SURPLUS WAX AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE.

There are a few light whisp lines, and thats it-  nothing else!  No scratches or marks.  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, and therefore there are a few little dust specs on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through we heard some lightest static in the opening dead grooves -AND thats about it!

Yes...the whole record plays quite superb.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct MATT /SILVER FOIL FINISH  first UK issued earliest sleeve  - with 'TAPERED' square spine.

PRINTER CREDITS -  None..

 This is in SUPERB condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean.  A very hard record to track down, and most copies we do see are always trashed. SO..finding one to auction is a real pleasure, and rarity.

These silver foil sleeves are so hard to keep unscuffed, but here we have A BEAUTY 

The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub, and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

No  ringwear -& BARELY  a hint of ring press!!!.

The open edge remains in super sharp shape, a few tiny feather spots, only.

The spine edge is 100% sharp and no squash or rub at all,  just the feintest of tip rub on the bottom..the tapered ends have made the usual 'pinch' over the spine as expected..

There  are a couple of tiny feint spider lines on the edges -and a couple of tiny light finger creases one on the back an three on the front..nothing to fret over..

THERE IS JUST A FEW TINY SPOTS OF BLACK RUB ON THE BACK SILVER PANEL , BUT AGAIN WE HAVE TO STRESS..THIS IS SO MINOR COMPARED TO EVERY COPY WE HAVE SEEN

THE FRONT PANEL IS 'WOW'!!! A STUNNING EXAMPLE

We cannot add any more than this! ..SUPER RARE... YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED HERE.
